National Education Policy 2020

The National Policy on Education was outlined in 1986 and changed in 1992. From that point forward a few changes have occurred that requires an amendment of the Policy.

The NEP 2020 is the principal instruction strategy of the 21st century and replaces the 34 year old National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986. School Education: Facts

The point of the new approach is the universalization of instruction from pre-school to optional level with 100% Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in school training by 2030. 
Through the open tutoring framework, the NEP 2020 will deliver 2 crores once again from younger students back into the standard. 
The current 10+2 framework in the school will be supplanted by another 5+3+3+4 curricular construction comparing to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14, and 14-18 years separately. Higher Education: Facts

In advanced education, Gross Enrolment Ration to be raised to half by 2035 and 3.5 crore seats to be included advanced education. 
Higher Education educational plan to have Flexibility of Subjects. 
Various Entry/Exit to be permitted with pertinent affirmation. 
To work with Transfer of Credits, the Academic Bank of Credits will be set up.
